Short howto

• For every data that should be indexed and searchable, create a property. If possible, it should have a predefined list of possible values.
  • If the property has predefined values, create a filter for it.
  • The filter must be added to the top-level category.
• For every logical group of data (e.g. USB driver, controller and firmware version) create a template.
  • The category created there must be added to the index manually by creating a page for it. Higher-level categories can be added there as well.
• Every category should have a form that has the same name as the category (Category:Support_Tools -> Form:Support_Tools). Subcategories need to have the full category tree as name (Category Installation, subcategory Emulator -> Form:Installation/Emulator).

Updating MediaWiki

There were some modifications made by me, which are labeled in source code with the comment "Modification by Sven". These should be ported to new versions of MediaWiki.
